All alone in the big instance

K, so I must say that I am happy to get on my private server for an hour or so each day and just screw around with the god-like power that I have bestowed upon my person. I have one problem with this server though: I can't get into any of the raid instances unless I'm in a raid group (something impossible to make on my one-man server). Does anyone know how I can get around this obstacle? Is there a GM command that I haven't spotted in the list? Perhaps there's something I can do in the database to remove the restriction?

You can use .recall port location which should take you into the instance. Could be problems with it of course that it might not trigger the instance correctly without a raid group. Not sure for certain havent tried them all. I know when I tried a few the normal mobs were there but when you get near the boss the zone isnt even loaded right.

I tried the .recall function on MC the other night, but all it did was crash a few times and then send me back to my racial start point. I'll see if I can't try a few of the others though.

I think that illidan may be a 5-man instance.

Try .gmon before you enter an instance :)

All instances should work without any problems now except I cant enter any heroics eventhough I have the rep :P

Here is another way to do it. Just follow these instructions. Hope they help. They worked for me. There is also more things that can be changed to like reset the instance and all sorts of fun stuff. If interested in those settings as well, then let me know, and i will post the link to them, or the text here as well.

Many of you, including me, a long time ago, have been asking how to enter a raid dungeon without being in a raid group. So i decided to give it a guide for ASCENT emulators.


1: Navicat is what we're going to use for this.

2: Open Navicat.

3: Double-Click on the database.

4: Double click on the ascent database.

5: Here you'll find many categories. Click on the one called worldmap_info

6: Ok, now a window pops with many lines and tables. One table shows the names of the dungeons. You should follow that line to change the details of the dungeon you need.

7: Another table says : Type. This is what you'll need to change . NUMBER 1 is the type of raid dungeons, and 2 is the one for 5 man dungeons ( the ones you can enter by yourself) Change the type of the raid dungeon you wish from 1 to 2.

8 That's it. your done! You can now enter those dungeons by yourself!

Also you could just open Wow twice log on using Admin admin and admin1 admin1 or admin2 i forget which it is
