spartan heyho set ur logonserver.conf(build it is something making this problem but it is not only thing) an if u make acc u must w8 until it reload acc's or type reload in logonserver.exe
teoretically antrix can use version from 0.0.0.0.1:D to 9.9.9.9.9.9.9.9.9.9 but it will probably crash etc etc i reccomend u to use 2.1.0 - 2.1.3 u can set it in logonserver.conf

hey, this may be irrelevant, but i got a problem on my private server....when i fighting lvl 70 elites, they got over 400,000 hp, why that?? does the server automatically adjust them to my lvl and is there anyway to make them weaker to make them a lot quicker to kill, not that its tough and IM INVINCIBLE!! but id rather fight them and kill them quick enough to have fun instead of typing in .kill all the time

you will need to be in a raid group, dunno how to fix it tho, but also, when you use .recall port ilidan you end up somewhere els, i do anywhere, lets say i was in zul gurub (i ran down there) then i wanner go tbt, and uses .recall port ilidan, then it loads, and then im still in zul gurub 0o and it will give me a red line saying that there is something with no instance on map bla bla bla... annoying...

Followed everything down to the "T"; but still I'm no more closer than I was when I was. I've installed AC 5.0 and it houses it's "Ac web ulitmate repack" server which has the IP of 127.0.0.1, I can join that; and I can run around playing GM for the day; but even after following the video step by step I still can't seem to log into a server that I create. It allows me to join the local; but forgive me if I'm wrong; but with local outside sources won't be able to join right? So, I have two servers to choose from 1 being non local while the other local, each time I try logging into the non local it: brings up "Logging onto game server, then a second later throws me back to the realm selection promt. It refuses to accept the non local server.

Your video was quite good, though I can't knock you down for the time and effort being put into making a video so others can benefit; but maybe it wasn't (idiot proof enough) Maybe I just need someone to actually hold my hand while taking me through step by step. Guessing the Realmlist WTF (Inside the World of Warcraft folder) should still be at 127.0.0.1, and I didn't see that you had a "Maps" folder inside your Antrix folder either. Another tutorial had us extract files which created a Maps folder, which was then placed back into the Antrix folder. I even tried re-installing everthing without extracting the maps folder, no real change at all.

I can log onto the (AC web ulitmate server) and onto a local; but I just can't get into a non local server that I've created. I followed it step by step, changing what needed to be changed; but it seems all is lost.

Even while making a local server I've found that I'm also having issues with creating addition accounts. Indeed I read all of the other threads posted; but little has helped. I can use Admin/Admin to play normally with the (AC web ultimate server) but even after I manually place in an account i.e .Createaccount XX XX XX (Account/Pass/Email) it doesn't seem to want to work. I get a promt saying it's been created, and I've even done a reload which will say "reloaded (X) amount of accounts, I've restarted, and even prayed; but it doesn't seem to work (FULLY) I can however log into it; but it doesn't get past handshaking, just stays there suspended in time. Not sure what the problem is. I've tried using Navicat; but I'm also not having much luck getting it to work correctly. I'm sure it human error on my part; but for now I'm just going to blame Vista.

thats why i made a SPECIFIC point that you make 2 realms.. one local and one external... i also made a point that YOU join the local one while others joined the external one...

i ALSO made a point that your local realm SHOULD NOT BE 127.0.0.1

Yeah I know about this bug but to get past it .recall port (Instance Name) not illidan so you will appear infront of the portal then you can just walk in I dont think you NEED a raid for BT but many instances do there is a fix somewere on this site for that you can try the search feature but idk if its still here other than that you can log in on a dif account and invite yourself to a raid.

So, I was in the right other than constantly trying to log into the non local server that I created, that I'm suppose to log into the local. That portion I'm able to do, however I'm baffled by how I can get others to join. Those who wish to join, do they too need to download/install AC 5.0? Could someone toss me maybe a step by step on what they need to do. I have the server running, it's in local which I'm suppose too right? They have WoW downloaded/installed; but what other tools might they need, if I'm having issues with Navicat on creating an account I can still do it by ".createaccount XX XX XX", yet when I do that, it gets stuck on handshaking. Did this make any sense at all? Simply trying to figure out step by step on how to get someone to be able to join. Even though it may be trivial or mundane hearing and answering "stupid" questions, it's still questions that may not be so stupid to those whom haven't a clue on what to do.

I'm quite sure that in the video you didn't go over how others join the server, and you did make a point that one should make two realm counts incase one is bad. Not that we should join the local while others join the external, just incase one is bad.

I ask the question on how others join because they can't simply log onto WoW and search under realms for your specific realm, I'm quite sure Blizzard wouldn't allow this. So I asked if they would need a program or had to change something inside their WoW folder in order to see just your realm.

For instance do they need to change inside their WoW folder under Realmlist and place my IP? If so, internal or external? Set Realmist 127.0.0.1 is what mine is set currently; but do they need to swap the text from their original to something new?

Though this may be quite mundane to you; but that's only because you understand it, while I do not. From your last comment I'm gathering that all they need is WoW itself and for us to be on the same patch, and by some odd fate he'll be able to see my realm along side all the real realms right? So, since this is the case he would also need to have an actual paid account for WoW too.

Well I'll admit to being a total idiot because I've tried to get Antrix up and running for a few weeks with no good results. Everything works just like the tutorials up until I get to the part where I start up the logon server and the antrix server. Prior to the 5.0 repack console both of these servers would just blink on and off so fast I couldn't see anything and now with the control panel the logon will blink on and off and the antrix server link (thru the control panel) crashes the control panel.

So far I've seen mostly problems that the vid explains and so shouldn't really be asked, but I haven't heard any mention of my problem.
I follow the video exactly and have no problems up until I have to start the loginserver and antrixserver neither one of those will start or even give an error message. You click on them and the window binks on and off, nothing happens. I can do everything in the video up to that point without any hangups.

Sorry if this is a, "noob" question but is there any other guides? For the latest AC WEB pack? I mean, more detailed or hand typed? Also if I'm patched to 2.2.0 or lets be more similar to everyone else, if I had 2.2.3 would my max build be the patch number name you find in your WoW folder? It has the updater in there and there is numbers similar to the build numbers like 7272. So if I were to patched to 2.2.3 would I make my max build 7272? Then find out for like, people with 2.2.0 can play my server or 2.2.2 and I'll find the same number in the wow folder that is, for example, 0000 and make min build 0000? So then only people with patch 2.2.2 and 2.2.3 can play, is that how that works? Thanks in advance :)

yea thats cool if there is ever a server pack that is stable enough to work right ill be happy to get it but bugs either vendors don't work right are spells don't work right are pets spells fail when you try to teach them.
the list goes on.
But all in all I'm glad to see the good work in trying to get a good server working.
