Server up-time

Hi guys

I'm quite a noob in servers for the moments,
but i want to set up my own server for my friends for a while...
Its now on my computer, not yet on the intrnet,,,

But, is there any program thats can minimise the 4 programs to one in a
"MSN MEssenger" format at the right botom of your screen ?
And any prog that alows you to put the server on while your comp is of ?

I hope so =D

If your computer is off, you cant have your server on unless its being hosted some where else. How you gunna have power going to your hard drive for the programs to run if your computer aint on...

I still don't know why even noobs don't understand it.

You can NOT run a server without power to your server machine... How the hell would that make sense? If your trying to save electricity then purchase a host (A lot more then your bill I will promise you that).

I mean shit... Can anyone tell me how to microwave my hotpocket without pluging my microwave in?
