Anytime I run Start MySQL this pops up and shuts down Start MySQL. The only way to stop it from doing that is uninstalling MySQL, but I can't connect to Logonserver.exe, Antrix.exe, or Navicat. Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

The only thing i can think of is that after installing MySql, its set to automatically start up. So when you try to open the "Start MySql" shortcut in the Ultimate Repack folder, it wont start because MySql is already running. To fix this, press Ctrl + alt + del, to open up taskmanager, and find mysquld-net.exe, and end the process. After that, try opening the shortcut and it should work...

ahh how do i remove the instance cause for me it only goes to start/programs/mysql/instance config

I think (and someone correct me if I am wrong), that the whole purpose of the first step (1)StartMySQL is that it creates Its own Instance for you.

Meaning: Uninstall your MySQL. Try running the (1)StartMySQL(start it, then press any key)
After it says "ready for connections" "port 3306" "<GPL>".. This means that it has created a database, and its own instance. If your Antrix and logon server do not work after that, that is a seperate problem, and you should post your conf files.

***Explanation***
If you use MySQL (the one that you created), it starts out as an empty database, where you have to create an Antrix folder, and then load from and SQL dump to get it to work. After doing this you normally have to go into the CONF file and enter what database you are loading your game from.

Using step |(1) Start MySQL| means that it created the the database, and you do not need to load the dump, because the Antrix database is already included. And the access to that database is already entered into the CONF files for you.

i found a way to make server to dont hav to start mysql:D actually it is on already whn u start windows no dos windows:D

if you have mysql running, and want to stop it (cos you cant run the antrix pack one) go to start -> control panel -> administrative tools -> services

and find it in there and stop it, then go to your ac web repack control thing, and start mysql

and if somebody already said this, sorry cos i didnt read all the other posts

heheh i hav mysql in startup and antrix db on it i dont even hav cmd opened and it works :D

Whenever4 this happens to me I just do ctrl+alt+del and End a process called "mysql-nt".

hehe try starting server without closing it from manager(ctrl+alt+del) and it will probably work (dont start mysql from ac repack control panel)
