well, I have modified them to give a resurrect as a reward and some other things... so ppl end up going back and doing them if they missed it. Makes life easier when everyone can rez ^^

i followed every instruction in the readme to the letter, and then it comes to running the control panel (failed), so i tried it manually, and it tells me that it cannot run ascent.exe or logon.exe because their side-by-side settings, arent configured correctly......WTF DOES THAT MEAN??

i`m still using 7.4 it works fine even after upgrade to vista.
i dont know howto upgrade to other repacks without losing my accounts and NPC SPAWNS and displayid`s,item modifycations but i see allot of isues here so i`m sticking to 7.4 because that supports illidian event scripts and even lady vashj scripts.
if the most ultimate repack comes that will be an EXACT copy of the blizzard servers i wil freshly upgrade :)
i suggest repack 7.4 and yes i tried 7.5 and 7.6 they aren`t that good since more bugs and instance scripts aren`t working properly

7.6 is good finally upgraded from 7.4 cause i broke it some how or one of my admins did

sooooooo chuffed with 7.6 of repak not had anything this easy to setup since 2.5.2 i loved the classic dj exucute edition fully controllable only slight thing that im lost on with 7.6 is how do you edit the accounts like u could with classic mangos silvermoon control panel ie before it was a simple web addy ive tryed localhost/ and even tried the ip of my computer i cant seem to be able to create accounts manually 8( i think i can once i try ingame using gm admin status but would rather edit outside the box..... would be super greatfull if some one made an account creation deletion tool with direct access to the data base who knows any help i would be great full 8) apart from that server runs super smooth +rep for the working ease of use server 8)



BTW people having issues with MYSQL connections use the V5.0 of mysql server instance configuration u should be able to revert all settings you made so when you go to setup a fresh version of AC WEB 7.6 it will work dont forget to AD your maps takes a while and make sure the maps is moved to your ascent Directory within your emulation directory u chose for best results I placed the server directory on me main drive which is D:\AC Web Ultimate Repack ....


ooooo one last question how do I make it so the talent points given per level can be 5 the old mangosd.conf was easy had a talent config already within itself would be super greatfull ta 9_9

Ran into a problem, tried redownloading, got the same problem.

When i run MySql it says it cant located Errmsg.sys in server\mysql\share\english yet it is.

I've just downloaded the new version, totally deleted all old versions and re installed. Ive installed the new ones and evrything works fine but i cannot crate an account, not with command or at the website. (local one). It says query failed to [Table 'logon.mailbox.insert.queu' dosnt exist. Select from mailbox.insert.queue.

The other problem says: Loading forced permissions strings.. Sql query failed to [Table logon.accont.forced.permissions. dosnt exists]

I am in agreement too with higher lvls going back to obtain lower level quests issue.

I'll be patient for the next re-pack to hopefully address the issue. :)

There is atleast a few bugs, on my server. I cannot enchant rings, put on shoulder/head OR leg enchants.. nothing like this works, and the change of weapons while in combat doesnt work either.. hope this will be fixed in the next repack:D cheers jargs for the nice work:D

Does anyone know when the next version (7.7?) will be released? My favourite Private server (Beyond-wow) uses this same repack and Ive alredy patched my wow to 2.4, so it doesn't work... And the same thing with my own server of course :D

Im guessing 7.7 wont be out for a while...i mean think of all the work it takes to make all these custom npc's and fix any bugs that people may be complaining about. Your best option is to just de-patch to 3.whatever the last one is. And yea i noticed that beyond-wow uses everything that 7.6 offers;p Props to jargs on this one.

about this repack> When i start a new character, my characters have Toooo much health and mana, my lvl 1 warrior has 280 health, and a level 2 creature cant hit him :D I have looked in the database > character creation table there are normal values (70 health for warrior). The starting value is really 70 the maximum is 280 and my character regenerates to its maximum slowly... Anyone has this problem< or i am a noob? (this is not my first server, the other cores seems to run smoothly, i have another mangos)

I am using server version 7.6 and have have trubel getting warcraft too connect with it but when I do get it connected I will create a person and when i go to start it will show loading screen the crash every time the erore say something work with the exe.
