i built a house on top of the towers sticking up from the hills above ironforge and a staircase up to the house. I use .go spawn, which spawn an object, .npc spawn, which spawns an NPC, .go select, which selects the nearest object, and .go move, which moves the selected object to your position. Some item codes i used were .go spawn 185301 for the floor, and .go spawn 103600 for the walls, which i made out of bookshelves. If you want to make the item permanent, you have to add a 1 after the item code. ex. .go spawn 185301 1. using thottbot i found pillow, bed, innkeeper, proffession, class trainer, statue, and torch IDs, which are in the URL. in this URL http://thottbot.com/o103600 103600 is the ID. Mailbox IDs i found on http://wowd.org/all/mailbox.html.
also, this is much easier if you make these commands into macros.
Nice man! Didn't help me verry mutch but i maybee helps other ppl!

For some reason, when I use the 1 after the code it doesn't stick.

Very nice - I didn't even think of housing. My wife will be excited when I tell her about this!

This is sweet!
But when i created the objects, and want to delete som of the items, they reappear when i restart the server... anyone knows how to fix this?

i know how to make them stay there, but i placed some objects wrong, and if i delete them with the .go delete they come back when i restart the server

Nice it works fine for me Thanks for sharing xD

The only way to permanently delete them is through the database.
1-in game stand on top or real close to the object u want to delete and use .gps
2-after u done that go to your database.
3-Click on Ascent
4-Double click Gameobjects_Spawn
5-Type in your Game objects spawning ID in the search bar thing. ( The one you want to delete)
6-Now there will be a list of all the items you've spawned with that ID.
7-Select the one that has the closest X,Y,Z codes as what your .gps came up with.
Im not all that good at explaining things so if you dont understand mayby someone else can clear it up for you.
good luck!
