<--Tutorial-->How to set up Faddix updated 7.8 Ac-Web repack.

Hello Ac-webians. Today i will be Explaining how to Set up Fadix's updated 7.8 Ac-Web repack.
This guide was written for Blaine152 but anyone can use this.

NOTE: This is not to get it public its only to get onto your server.

Ok lets get started shall we? Ok.

1) Download the updated repack >--HERE--<(Original post---[Release] AC Web Ultimate Repack 7.8 - Updated for 2.4.3 - WarpNPC

2)Extract the downloaded content with WinRAR to your C:/ Drive.

3)Open up your Ac-web folder then Arcemu then configs and then open up Realm.conf and edit the following (this is optional but it ill help you in the long run) Change what i have changed in red.

Port = "8093"
Name = "Default Logon"
RealmCount = "2">

<Realm1 Name = "AC Web Ultimate Repack"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129
Icon = "PVP"
Population = "1.0"
Timezone = "1" (Create a 2nd realm like this)

<Realm2 Name = "AC Web Ultimate Repack"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129
Icon = "PVP"
Population = "1.0"
Timezone = "1"

4)Go into your repack folder again and go into Tools.
Then pick your country enUS-USA, enGB-Europe (i think)
and then copy ad.exe and the maps folder and put it in your WoW Directory.
C:\program files\world of warcraft\
It should take roughly 15-20mins. Then once its finished delete the Ad.exe and move the maps folder into your ArcEmu directory
C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Arcemu just pop it in there.

5)Then just start up your server MySQL,Logonserver, World and apache is only used for your website so dont worry about that for now.

6) Set Realmlist too 127.0.0.1 and login with the default user and pass
admin
admin
and there you go it should be running perfect
Also, i recommend everyone update the core and Execute the much needed SQL files in the repack.

HOW TO UPDATE THE CORE!
NOTE: to update to new core, just overwrite arcemu-logonserver.exe, arcemu-world.exe
and a "script_bin" folder, and apply needed world or character update in "sql_updates" folder (depends on core revision)!!!

ArcEmu Core
ArcEmu_rev1545.rar - 8.1 Mb---> NEW rev_1545 (ArcSripts)!!!

You MUST update game to Patch 2.4.3
You MUST have .Net Framework 3.5 installed
for the repack applications to work

lol nothing its a great guide i even used a little bit of it but some people just dont get it, that was the main reason for my flame outbreak on your first guide lol.

Does the 1545 core work for 2.4.3 and 3.0.3? I'm almost afraid to update because I don't own WotLK and I use patch 2.4.3. Also, can anyone tell how C++ is used for server dev teams (and possibly give me some examples).

Everything is running like it should, but when I go to log in I get error:

Nope.. I have Navicat 8 up and connected and all of the settings match.

Navicat 8:
Hostname: localhost
Name: root
Pass: ascent

Conf file
<LogonDatabase Hostname = "localhost"
Username = "root"
Password = "ascent"
Name = "logon"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1">


I even tried putting the conf file in the same folder as the launch file. Wonder where I messed up.

Everything that has a conf file has the same error.

When I ran into this error, I just ran Blizz repair and change the realmlist again and update to the patch I need (if it's not there already, and I use 2.4.3)

I was getting that error because I hadnt installed TBC yet. Now im stuck at Creating Character screen, it wont finish creation.

Okay, found some things out:
Problem: Encounter a error about config files aren't right when you try to launch the World and Logon programs.
Fix: Install .net Framework 3.5

Problem: Cannot Validate Game Version when trying to log in:
Fixes: TBC is not installed
You don't have patch 2.4.3 (or 3.0.3 if you updated the core)
A small error when installing TBC can cause this. Run the WoWRepair program and try again.

Currently, I have encountered the Cannot Validate Game Version problem, but none of the above fixes work. Any ideas? Also can I get a link to the last updated 2.4.3 core (not 3.0.3)?

Does anyone know a fix for getting stuck at the Create Character screen?

When I create and name my toon then click accept it just sits with "Creating Character" screen.

Your wow version is higher than the repack.

nice tutorial Tyrail and some news form ArcEmu,
they are putting it back branch for 2.4.3 on their SVN, so maybe they will do some updates and fixes for it...i think it is great for us who still loved to play on old TBC
