[Tutorial] How to fix falling through BIG GO's

How to fix falling through big GO's like SW. this is my first tut on AC-web so be sure to rate it. Also plz excuse me if i miss-spell anything i broke my arm, also plz remember to +rep if you liked




First of ur obviously gunnu need a server, and a DB editor heidi,navicat,etc i used heidi so lets get started.




Turn on ur server then open up ur heidi, then go into ur ascent DB (FUN with howling's pack)




then go all the way down to the bottom to Worldmap_Info, Then scroll down until u find where ur putting the GO at (0 eastern kingdoms, 1 kalimdor, 530 outland) in this case outlands




Then scroll all the way to the right until u see viewing distance at the top then change it to a really high number (note: 8000 is the highest u can go)


Then restart ur server and have fun



P.S. by changing the viewing distance ur not changing how far u can see something from, ur changing how far the SERVER can register something from

Like maxiex0 said, it only works with massive GO's.
I spawned Stormwind once in a remote area, and the distance for that area was set to 400.
If you walk through your spawned SW, and you go to old town, you will fall through, because you are over 400 from the center of the GO, and it disappears.
Setting the viewing distance higher will prevent you from falling through.
