umm when i start dl 7.8 it doesnt say theres any seeders but 5 peers but it wont let me dl it,can some please help me, or would it be possible for me to just use 7.7?

new problem,i run wow with the pass and user and it says i need to patch to 3.0.2. do i accept? plz send me an aswer as soon as possible

Alright, here goes:

According to the "README" file located inside the AC Web Repack 7.8 I have done as the guide has clearly said. The small text is symbolic for what I have done.


First put ad.exe and the "maps" folder into your wow directory (from the map extractor in the tools folder)

Then run ad.exe

When it has finished put the maps folder into /AC Web Ultimate Repack/Ascent/

Then start up the control panel (/AC Web Ultimate Repack/Control Panel.exe)

Launch the applications

Now change your realmlist (realmlist.wtf located in your wow directory) to 127.0.0.1

login with user: admin pass: admin
If you do not have The Burning Crusade Expansion Pack, login with user: admin2 pass: admin2

Now play!

If you have any trouble with the control panel, you can launch the server manually. Just open these files to do that:

/AC Web Ultimate Repack/Server/MySQL.bat
/AC Web Ultimate Repack/Server/Apache.bat
/AC Web Ultimate Repack/Ascent/logonserver.exe
/AC Web Ultimate Repack/Ascent/ascent.exe


okay, every time I open up the "Control Panel.exe"

I select: "Start All"

after that, I receive these messages:


this stays running:

this stays running:

this closes:

this closes:


could somebody please help me with this? sorry to sound like a noob. i'm just really exitced and want to get my private server up-and-running offline for the moment so I can add in some stuff and later on, put it online.

ok first go find the Apache-stop.bat and mysqlstop.bat and run them!.... you have copys running already then reopen them and try it

both of them should be in this directory

ahhh i got it all working now, however when I go to log-into my own account (or the admin/admin account)

it gets to "Connecting" and the character creation page.

how do i actually get in?



liiiike it says "connecting" across the screen but it like just sits there. how do i fix that?

This is because if you read the changelog you would know that repack 7.8 does not support 2.4.3 or 3.0.2

change you realmlist(.../World of Warcraft/realmlist.wtf) into your server address, if you want to play for yourself it is 127.0.0.1

Where is the best 2.4.3 repack, then?

So 7.7 repack supports 2.4.3, but this one doesn't?

7.7 supports 2.4.1
7.8 supports 2.4.2 (with Faddix's patch - 2.4.3)

Try QQrofl's repack or zenathor's...

All he was doing was pointing it out. And if there was a 3.0.2 repack under construction and WotLK is 3.0.3, don't you think that there is one under construction for that? Just go to releases, people have released many with 3.0.3.

Question about repack 7.8 plz reply me
I was wondering, in the repack 7.8, it says supports 2.4.3 i believe.
Well, i have Wotlk installed, v3.0.3 or somethin, and i was wondering. Is there
a way that i could update the repack on my computer to support Wotlk?

I dont really want to sound like a noob or anything. .. but this is my first
priv-server...

You can go to the Releases section. Many people have released excellent repacks that you can download and support 3.0.3
